" This is a riotous comedy drama about a lovely, wealthy Chinoy woman who suddenly feels old and unattractive when she discovers that her Chinoy husband is having an affair with not one, but two younger women! Poor Chona Chong (ZSA ZSA PADILLA). On the surface, she seems to have everything a Chinoy woman would want: a wealthy husband named Elton (JAY MANALO) who dotes on her, and three attractive children who don’t give her any problems. There’s handsome Hamilton (JOHN PRATS); the ultra-modern teen Hibiscus (JULIANNE LEE); and the precocious Anthurium (ELLA GUEVARRA). Like many Chinese in the Philippines, Chona wound up marrying Elton through an arranged marriage. Inspite of the fact that their families forced them on one another, Elton and Chona got along very well, living happily as man and wife for close to twenty years. Lately, however, Chona has been hearing alarming gossip about another woman in Elton’s life. Seems like Chona’s best friends (PINKY AMADOR & MARISSA SANCHEZ) have heard of a Patty (CHERRY PIE PICACHE) whom Elton is very fond of. Patty, a “Chinese Bisaya,” is reportedly a business wiz, becoming a multi-millionaire several times over because of her keen business acumen. Patty also has a son with Elton, the rebellious rocker/rapper Nixon (JC DE VERA). One day, while spying on Patty, Chona gets the shock of her life when she realizes that her children have known of Patty and Nixon for a long time! Worse, Chona’s kids and Patty’s son are actually friends! Chona then hears through the grapevine that her husband has gifted his mistress with another expensive condominium. When she is allowed into the condo unit by the helpless building administrator, Chona gets another huge shock: the condo unit is a gift not for Patty, but for a SECOND mistress, the very buxom Gloria (RUFA MAE QUINTO)! These consecutive revelations almost drive the insecure Chona to the brink of insanity. Rather than confront Elton about his other women, however, Chona concludes that the only solution is to make herself look younger and sexier. Botox injections, liposuction, breast augmentation and other cosmetic procedures are now Chona’s best friends. Making things even worse is handsome son Hamilton’s realization that he may be gay. As if Chona didn’t have enough problems, Hamilton comes out of the closet at the worst possible time, jeopardizing his status as Elton’s heir. When Elton finds out that his only legitimate male son is as gay as a picnic basket, will he now make illegitimate son Nixon his heir? Chona doesn’t believe for a minute that Hamilton is gay, so she sets him up with the pretty Trixia (BIANCA KING). Will she succeed in bringing out the hot-blooded male buried deep within Hamilton, or will he and Trixia just spend their time teasing each other’s hair? And what of the womanizing Elton? Will karma take care of him for loving three women at the same time? “Ako Legal Wife: Mano Po 4” answers these and other questions as it takes a humorous look at the weird and wonderful world of love in Manila, Chinoy style!

This is really funny and better than the other versions of Mano Po, although none can still top the 1st one, this is definitely better than the other in between the series.
