"Synopsis: Minsan, Minahal Kita Past and present intermingle and converge in this unusual love story. Year 2000, two college-types, a male and a female, are engaged in a profound rhetorical exchange in the Mabuhay Lounge of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport while awaiting a plane arrival. Their topic: marital infidelity. From their exchange, a dramatic, poignant story from the past would unfold before us: the story of Dianne (Sharon Cuneta) and Albert (Richard Gomez), a pair of anguished souls trapped in a dysfunctional marriage with their respective spouces. Dianne and Albert's tale unfold from the mid-80's. from a series of synchronistic, yet funny and awkward, encounters between them, Albert becomes a client of Dianne's whose office conducts human resources development seminars for companies. Albert, a construction company executive and whom Dianne charms in their first chance meeting, may have really thought that his firm could use the services of her office. On the other hand, he must have just felt compelled to create the circumstances to be closer to her. Regardless of his real motives, he fulfills his heart's desire. They fall in love... despite forbidding circumstances. As in nearly all illicit, theirs is an alternatively fulfilling and frustration one. It would find marginal support from Dianne's half sister, Jackie (Carmina Villaroel) not without some guilt-- who had earlier encouraged her to come out of her shell. Invariably, their romace would face its crucial test. Albert's wife (Angel Aquino) discovers his infidelity. He gets an opportunity to make a clean break and take with him Dianne instead. Dianne, for her part, is feeling the pressure of censure from her mother (Rosemarie Gil) and the continually crass, uncaring treatment from Louie, her husband (Edu Manzano). Albert asks her to be with him. She hedges. But when Louie turns violent on her once more, she impulsively decides to run away from him. She takes up Albert's offer to go away with him. However, life has so much irony. It is Albert's turn to hedge. And to change his mind. He decides he would remain with his family, even as he would want to remain with her lover, too. Dianne's world crumbles. What are her remaining choices? We are again in the present-- with the two young adults in the airport. The young female (Kristine Hermosa) is Albert's daughter. Her conversation partner is Dianne's son (Marvin Agustin). Their parting shot to each other would reveal to us what choices Albert and Dianne young adults what they are now. Indeed, life is full of ironies. Audio Format:
