Lupe lives under the custody of her tyrannical grandmother. She follows strict rules and suffers punishment every time she breaks them. Her grandmother, who thinks she will be promiscuous like her mother, vows to raise Lupe morally and with dignity. But Lupe, already in the awkward stage in her life finds herself drawn in an old movie house where she meets the operator of the movie projector. Whar started as curiousity turns into sexual awakening for this young girl who is not only hungry for love but also looking for a closure to her cruel childhood.
